What times are the Edinburgh English Language School lessons?
Lessons take place in Edinburgh each morning between 09:00-10:30 & 11:00-12:30 Monday to Friday each week, except for Monday 31 August, which is a public holiday; three hours English language classes each day, 15 hours per week. Our teachers in Edinburgh are qualified English language teachers with experience of teaching English to foreign students.
Where in Edinburgh do the English Language lessons take place?
Lessons take place each morning at St Thomas of Aquin's High School in Chalmers Street Edinburgh EH3 9ES. This is situated off Lauriston Place. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the middle of Princes Street or catch the number 27 bus from Hanover Street (runs every 10 minutes) and get off at The Chalmers Hospital on Lauriston Place.
Is there an English language test at the school in Edinburgh?
Yes, all students take an assessment test on their first day at the school. We offer classes for beginners, lower intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate and advanced students.
Do you provide course materials for the English Language course?
Yes, students at the Edinburgh Language School have the use of English course books for the duration of the course. We suggest you bring your own language dictionary.
